Since 1987, GIFT has been a meeting place for interracial and intercultural families. We recognize the need in our personal lives and our communities for a supportive network to welcome interracial/intercultural families and individuals as they bring about positive change in American society. The name GIFT springs from our belief that it truly is a gift to see beyond what society views as barriers to interpersonal relationships, such as the color of our skin or the country of our origin.
